Our Story
In 1965, Moy family matriarch and restaurant founder Connie Moy and her young son Perry lived in a storefront building that would later become Plum Garden Restaurant. After graduating high school, Perry joined his mother at the restaurant as a chef and in 1972, created the now famous hand-battered Hong Kong Chicken.
Connie Moy’s commitment to serving her community quality, fresh ingredients in a family-friendly atmosphere has been Plum Garden’s foundation, spanning more than 50 years and three generations of owners.
